On 12th July 2025, St. Joana Foundation joined Henry House Community School in Ho Kpenoe for their annual Speech and Prize-Giving Day under the Baby Steps Initiative. The event celebrated academic excellence, discipline, and dedication among pupils while recognising the efforts of teachers and parents who continue to support quality education.

As part of the event, the foundation presented a Plaque of Excellence and a cash prize of GHS 3,000 to the Overall Best JHS Student to support their Senior High School prospectus. The winner also received 20 exercise books, a new school bag, a Casio scientific calculator, and stationery.

For the best primary pupil, the foundation awarded 10 exercise books, a school bag, a mathematical set, and a stationery case, encouraging the younger pupils to continue working hard and stay focused on their studies.

Speaking at the event, representatives of St. Joana Foundation encouraged all pupils to remain disciplined and determined, noting that education remains a strong foundation for success. Teachers and parents expressed deep gratitude for the continuous support, adding that such gestures inspire the pupils to aim higher.

The day ended with smiles, cheers, and renewed motivation across the school as the foundation reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing young learners, one child, one school, and one step at a time.
